Join us at the Woodford County Park on September 7, 2007 to pay tribute and offer words of thanks to the Public Works employees of Woodford County with the Public Works Appreciation Picninc.  These employees include the WC Road Department, the WC Recycling Center, the Versailles Public Works, and the Midway Public Works.  The employees who do so much for the community will be given a buffet lunch and a chance to win raffle prizes.  It is the one time of the year to give back to those who make such a difference in our community!  For more information or to donate raffle prizes, please contact Nola Serber at 859-873-0660 or at nola4recycle@yahoo.com

The 2nd Annual Homecoming Festival will occur on the Sunday of Homecoming week. It will held on the Sunday of Homecoming week from 2pm-5pm around Court St and will consist of a dunking booth, food vendors, Farmer's Market participants, Woodford County High School clubs and groups, as well as, many craft and novelty booths. It is a wonderful opportunity to support the High School and downtown and have fun!

Held on Thursday of Homecoming week at 6pm, the Woodford County High School Homecoming Parade brings out the best with class and group floats, the Band, and past and current Homecoming candidates. It is the community's moment to lead in the support of Woodford County High School and its victory at the Homecoming game.
